AIR HANDLING SYSTEMS
These unique, low-cost air handling systems save on heat and air
conditioning. It's designed especially for low-volume trim systems.
This air handling system can accommodate several pick-up points from
trimming or die-cutting operations. Trim is pneumatically conveyed to
the cyclone. Here the conveying air is separated from the trim scrap.
This air is then filtered and returned to the plant while the scrap is
fed directly into the hopper at the automatic horizontal baler.
Regardless of volume of incoming air, special self-adjusting controls
modulate pressure in the baler chamber to minimize dust contamination
around the press.

Adaptable --With the BloApCo system, customers can utilize a horizontal
baler of their choice. It will work with existing pneumatic conveying systems. The air handling systems are flexible and can be adapted to fit almost any existing space. No roof openings are needed. Low headroom requirements enable system to fit inside most buildings.

    • Any fan operating in pneumatic air handling systems will create a
    certain amount of noise. The intensity and volume of sound produced is
    not easily calculated. BloApCo duct silencers are available to reduce
    air conducted noise. The addition of silencers is generally sufficient
    to keep the noise within OSHA guidelines.
         		BloApCo Diverter Valves provide a fast positive change in scrap flow.
    They are remotely controlled and permit users to separate scrap by color,
    material, grades, or condition, i.e., clean and contaminated. They are
    true high-pressure diverters and are designed to be "sealed" into
    air handling systems. Two models are available for both the suction side or pressure side of pneumatic air handling systems.

    The Model 15-3 Trim Handling Fan that is part of the air handling systems product line is recommended for handling a variety of narrow trim, including cut paper and foil. It is capable of running at a higher line static pressure than larger fans. As a result, the Model 15-3 is capable of handling large volumes of scrap with less operating and less initial cost than larger fans. Like all BloApCo fans, the Model 15-3 reflects half a century of engineering innovations in fan design.
