The CEL is the ultimate in large-scale gas detection and control. Up to 32 sensors can be connected using RS-485 communication runs to many locations within a building. Flexible features include: zoning for fan relay, alarm or proportional outputs; removable keypad for programming system parameters; multiple RS-485 communication runs for optimal site wiring; customizable RS-232 output for digital communication to building automation systems and full LED and digital PPM indication. The CEL Series offers indicating lights that show the alarm status at all locations and an LED display that shows the exact concentration for the selected gas at each gas detection point using a PPM readout. The CEL Series comes with a removable keypad so that no unauthorized personnel can tamper with the programming of the gas detection system, an important improvement over competing systems that have a keyboard installed on the front of the control panel.	The Control Panel shall have an LED display with an indicating light for each gas detection sensor location. This light shall blink slowly for low-level indication, blink quickly for high-level indication and be solid ON for alarm level indication. A liquid-crystal alphanumeric 4-line display shall provide PPM levels for each gas detection sensor station, shall indicate the gas being sampled at that location and its alarm status The ACME CEL4 Series is a microprocessor-based up to 4 channel multi- gas detection and control system that can be used with a wide variety of ACME toxic, combustible & oxygen gas sensors.
