Linear motion guides rail brakes use spring force to secure the load in holding applications. Superior response time and high force provide stopping and holding functions in power-off situations. Each brake clamps directly onto the center of the guide rail to provide positive braking and holding in all axes. These profile rail brakes hold position accurately by eliminating drive train backlash and elasticity. |

Three series of super precision bearings are available, ISO series 19, 10 and 02, with preferred contact angles of 15º and 25”. The standard cage is laminated phenolic resin which is outer ring guided. The material and design provide for high speed and quiet running. The many combinations of contact angle and preload allow precise selection to cope with the most arduous requirements of speed and capacity. |
